Product tracking simulation

As part of the workshop, we would simulate the tracking of a product (medical device) from the manufacturer to the patient.

We would go through the process with the involvement of the participants (production, product identification, labeling, picking, ... use for patients). At various critical events, we would put the participants in a decision-making situation, where they could choose from different options. We would then discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each, and the consequences.

In this form, we would go through some critical areas, which nowadays pose a great challenge to the actors in the supply chain (manufacturer, distributor, healthcare institution).
