The Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering is one of the Excellence Institutes in Italy. The “Network Control Lab” research group includes Full Professors, Researchers, Engineers and PhD Students. The research group has been involved in more than 40 projects, funded by UE, ESA and other national and regional entities.

The main research activities are focused on:

• AI algorithms for automatic disease diagnosis;

• AI algorithms for disease prediction and prevention; · Support Decision Systems based on Automatic Control for personalized clinical care;

• Federated Learning solutions for decentralized learning in compliance with privacy regulations.
