About
Spin Safety® evaluates the technical performance of your MRI-unit as an independent external provider, acting separately from both the manufacturer and the operator.
By implementing standard protocols to assess the physical parameters of MRI and MRS systems using SpinSafety® standard test objects, the controls carried out by Spin Safety® are tests designed to evaluate the macroscopic performance of the MRI device, as well as its MRS applications, under "clinical routine" operating conditions.
Spin Safety® test objects required for Quality Assessment and the implementation of evaluation procedures are standard.
The procedures used are standard, meaning they are adaptable to any type of equipment, regardless of its model and technical capabilities.
Are measured and analyzed:
Signal Parameters : SNR, Noise homogeneity, Uniformity, Signal, Gray-level differential, Frequency-encoding axis, Phase-encoding axis, Ghosting artifacts
Geometric Parameters : Slice thickness, Geometric distortion, Spatial resolution, Slice positioning
NMR Parameters : T1 measurements, T2 measurements, Proton density linearity N(H), Contrast-to-noise ratio
