Tuatara offers Contract Research Organisation (CRO) services to support the development, validation, and evaluation of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. Our work is carried out in fully equipped and certified molecular biology and microbiology laboratories, providing a professional and controlled environment for a broad range of research and diagnostic activities.

We perform diagnostic testing and research assignments on behalf of external partners across the veterinary, food, and human diagnostic sectors. Our services can support different stages of the IVD product development process, from feasibility studies and method development to analytical evaluation, verification, and performance testing.

With expertise in molecular biology, microbiology, RNA/DNA extraction methods, technology development, microfluidics, qPCR, LAMP, isothermal amplification and diagnostic testing. Tuatara works closely with industry partners, research organisations, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, scientifically robust, and fit-for-purpose results. Including documentation according to the relevant ISO standards and IVDR.
