Rethink Medical SL

Rethink Medical SL is a Spanish MedTech company founded in 2014 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Its mission is to develop innovative medical devices that address unmet clinical needs, improving patient safety, quality of life, and healthcare efficiency. Its flagship product, T-Control®, is a urinary catheter with an integrated flow-control system that prevents infections, simplifies insertion, and often eliminates the need for urine bags, delivering clinical, economic, and environmental benefits. The technology is protected by three international patent families and supported by an ISO 13485 certified quality system. In May 2025, T-Control® received CE mark approval and is currently undergoing advanced clinical validation, with FDA certification in progress. Rethink Medical has raised over €3.2M in public and private funding and is backed by a multidisciplinary team with strong expertise in healthcare, regulation, business, and innovation.
