The company @bloc, founded in July 2014 by Thierry Donat, has set itself the goal of providing an alternative to the existing offer in terms of operating table cushions. With twenty years of experience, including more than fifteen years in an operating table manufacturer, Mr. Donat wanted to put his expertise at the service of this project.

Joined by two former colleagues from the same manufacturer, @bloc now has a team of 17 employees, all experts in this field. Our core business is the creation of positioning cushions and operating table mattresses. In 2024, we have evolved our offer by offering operating table accessories to make @bloc the privileged interlocutor of biomedical engineers and operating room staff.

Concerned about controlling the quality of its products, @bloc set up a manufacturing unit in France, in Avrillé (49), at the end of 2018. This site, equipped with high-tech machinery, allows all phases of Research & Development, assembly and product control to be carried out in-house. The @bloc Quality Management System has been ISO 13485 certified since March 2020. This certification was renewed on March 21, 2023 for a period of three years.

@bloc is now a recognized player in the positioning of patients in the operating room on the French market and is now moving towards the internationalization of its activities.
