Offering the development of a CE-certified molecular diagnostic

We are offering the development of a CE-certified molecular diagnostic. As targets, we are currently working on the detection of multiresistent bacteria, post-transplantation monitoring or the detection of specific memory B-cells, for instance. We are very open to work on new targets, e.g. cancer diagnostic kits would be a great field of expansion!

An entire platform with a DNA purification machine, a liquid handler as well as our FluoQube Realtime-PCR machine and software for data analysis is available which can be easily adapted to several targets. The methods and targets are continuously further developed in our own R&D department, where e.g. direct PCR, RT-PCR or isothermal amplification is used with different materials like blood, saliva, swabs or dry blood spots as examples. An area of activity is also the establishment of point-of-care diagnostics.

Further innovations are being strived for in the field of sequencing, where, for instance, developments in amplicon sequencing or single cell sequencing are ongoing, inclusive adaptations in the data analysis software.

Another focus of interest is to digitalize developmental or manufactural steps by establishing software tools for e.g. an AI-driven primer design or allele database generation. 

We are looking for a coordinator or project team to jointly apply for a Horizon Europe call.  Here, we aim for projects which result in diagnostic products in a variable field of application.
