A public foundation that, for over 30 years, has been working on the creation and consolidation of social economy enterprises, as well as on the dissemination of these legal forms and the corresponding model of entrepreneurship and the values

Areas of activity:

Advising groups of entrepreneurs on the start-up of their projects.

Carrying out feasibility studies for social economy business projects.

Support for the consolidation of social economy enterprises, advice and accompaniment in the processing of aid for innovation, investment or market expansion for cooperatives and worker-owned companies’.

Training and information on the characteristics of the social economy.

Carrying out studies and research projects on these matters.

Publication of books and materials on the social economy

Promotion of social innovation from the local economy.

Support to the government of the Principality of Asturias in the drafting of regulations, lines of aid and in any other actions requested by the Foundation.

Participation, together with the social agents and the government, in the Asturian Social Economy Council (CAES).
