About
CretanSCENT, the Secondary Union of Social and Solidarity Economy Entities for the Region of Crete, represents 163 active SSE organizations across the island. Our mission is to advocate for and empower social enterprises that drive inclusive growth, environmental sustainability, and community resilience particularly in rural, remote and marginalised areas and populations.
We are actively offering our expertise with EU and international stakeholders to co-develop projects, share best practices, and foster innovation in the social economy sector. Our areas of expertise include:
