About me
Dr. Arindam Basak is working as an associate professor in School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University for the last 11+ years. He is a strong education professional with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) focused in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and doctoral (Ph.D. Engg) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Howrah. His research includes earth abundant materials for the fabrication of low-cost thin-film solar cells, semiconductor material for the application in solar cell, different oxide materials for gas sensing applications,biomass to liquid fuel conversion, sensors and its interfacing.
He has authored a number of research papers in reputed international journals and in several national and international conferences. He is also co investigator for three projects funded by DST and SERB.
He is also heading the training and placement, industry engagement and entrepreneurship activities, industry-academia collaboration, students' participation in different industry sponsored activities and seminars from School of Electronics Engineering.
