Dr.Lekshmi M S
Assistant professor & HoD, Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation
Ernakulam, India
I am a researcher in electronics and instrumentation, specialising in 2D materials, gas sensing, and materials for neuromorphic applications.
About me
y PhD research focused on investigating surface-activated NiO-based gas sensors for biomedical applications. This work involved material synthesis, thin film deposition, structural and electrical characterisation, device fabrication, and performance evaluation. Through this research, I gained hands-on expertise in nanomaterial synthesis and characterisation techniques, which directly relate to the 2D Materials/Graphene Domain highlighted in the notification. I have more than 6 years of research and academic experience in R&D environments, including project supervision, laboratory development, and collaborative research. My work has resulted in peer-reviewed publications and active engagement in funded research initiatives. I am particularly interested in advancing research in 2D materials for sensing and nanoelectronic applications.
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to the research activities at your institution and collaborate with the team to advance innovative work in this area.
