ASSOCIAZIONE SOS EUROPA

SOS Europa APS is an independent non-profit organisation established in Rome, Italy, in 2016. Our mission is to promote European values, social inclusion, human rights, intercultural dialogue, democratic participation and the active involvement of young people in society.

Over the years, SOS Europa has developed extensive experience in the design, coordination and implementation of EU-funded projects, particularly under Erasmus+, including Capacity Building in Youth and VET, Virtual Exchanges, youth participation and mobility initiatives. The organisation has built a consolidated international network involving more than 50 partners across 25 countries.

Our work combines non-formal education, youth empowerment, digital skills, social innovation, employability, active citizenship and capacity building. Particular attention is given to young people and communities facing social, economic, educational or geographical barriers, as well as to the prevention of discrimination and marginalisation.

SOS Europa has strong expertise in transnational consortium management, project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, development of educational methodologies and tools, and organisation of international and local activities.

For Strand II – Supporting access to the labour market of Roma NEETs, SOS Europa is interested in developing or joining a transnational partnership bringing together Roma and youth organisations, NGOs, public authorities, employment services, VET and training providers, universities, social enterprises and other relevant stakeholders.

We are particularly interested in cooperation addressing outreach and engagement of Roma NEETs, skills development, employability, mentoring, non-formal education, digital competences, empowerment and sustainable pathways towards education, training and employment.

SOS Europa can contribute its experience in youth engagement, capacity building, transnational cooperation, communication and dissemination, project management and the development of participatory methodologies, while working with specialised partners able to provide complementary expertise in Roma inclusion and labour-market integration.
