Foundation for Education and Development “GENEZA”

The Foundation for Education and Development “GENEZA” is a non-profit organisation based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed to education, community development, social inclusion and support for vulnerable individuals and families.

Our work combines education, professional expertise and community-based action. We develop and implement educational activities particularly in the fields of health and healthy lifestyles, entrepreneurship and legal awareness, while also providing social and humanitarian support to people facing social and economic challenges.

A particular focus of our work is improving opportunities for children, young people and families. Through educational programmes, workshops, counselling, community initiatives and humanitarian activities, we aim to make knowledge, professional support and essential services more accessible to those who need them most.

GENEZA is currently working to further develop its community-based services for children and families, with an emphasis on prevention, education, health promotion, social inclusion and early professional support. Our goal is to create an integrated local model where children and parents can access educational activities, professional guidance and different forms of support within their community.

Within the European Child Guarantee framework, we are particularly interested in initiatives that reduce inequalities among children, strengthen access to essential services and develop sustainable local support systems for children and families at risk of poverty or social exclusion.

We are interested in building partnerships with civil society organisations, public institutions, universities and other European stakeholders to exchange good practices, develop innovative approaches and jointly implement projects with measurable and sustainable impact.
