REVMA – Organisation Profile

REVMA (Roma Educational Vocational Maintainable Assistance) is a Roma women-led non-profit organisation established in Greece in 2021, working to promote the educational and social inclusion of Roma communities, with particular attention to children, young people and families.

Founded by Roma women with experience in education, intercultural mediation and social inclusion, REVMA combines professional expertise with direct knowledge of the realities and barriers experienced by Roma communities. Its work addresses issues such as educational disadvantage, school dropout, social exclusion, access to services, community engagement and empowerment.

REVMA's community-based and Roma-led character enables the organisation to contribute to projects requiring effective outreach to Roma children and families, participatory approaches, trust-building, intercultural mediation and the involvement of target groups in the co-design and implementation of interventions.

Partnership sought – ESF-SI-2026-ECG-01

REVMA is interested in joining a transnational consortium under Strand I – Strengthening the European Child Guarantee national governance systems, particularly a consortium coordinated by a National Child Guarantee Coordinator seeking a community-based NGO partner with direct experience of Roma children and families.

REVMA can contribute particularly to identifying barriers to access to essential services; outreach and engagement of Roma children and families; co-design and piloting of integrated service approaches; educational inclusion and prevention of school dropout; intercultural mediation; stakeholder engagement; and dissemination and transfer of community-based practices.

REVMA is particularly interested in partnerships that aim to strengthen the connection between public authorities, education and social services, civil society and Roma communities, ensuring that integrated Child Guarantee services effectively reach children experiencing poverty and social exclusion.
