About

CNR, Compagnie Nationale du Rhône, is the concessionary of the River Rhone for the production of hydroelectricity, river transport and agricultural use. As the leading producer of 100% renewable electricity, CNR transforms the energy of water, wind and sun to accelerate the ecological transition of territories. It has 4000MW of installed capacity among which 58 wind farms, 51 solar power plants and 49 hydropower plants.

CNR is experienced in PV farms, bifacial PV, floating PV, agri-PV. CNR has an extensive expertise in hydroelectric and river engineering expertise (hydropower, navigable waterways, river development and restoration, hydraulic management of river systems, assistance to operation and maintenance).

On the overall, CNR proposes its expertise in various domains. CNR can make its facilities available for testing new technologies, as an end-user. CNR would be interested in joining a consortium for the above-mentioned calls. But it is also opened to new opportunities in the field of renewable energy and innovation (hydrogen, osmotic).
