Ağır Sanatlar

Ağır Sanatlar is an independent design and production workshop based in Kocaeli, Türkiye, focusing on upcycling, industrial design and handcrafted furniture and accessories.

The brand was born from a transition away from a family-run plastics manufacturing business with more than four decades of industrial experience. Today, I use this background to give discarded industrial materials, reclaimed wood and metal components a new purpose.

My work combines functionality, sustainability and industrial aesthetics. I create distinctive furniture, home accessories and decorative objects, often incorporating materials that would otherwise be considered waste.

Production currently focuses on individual pieces, prototypes and small batches, with opportunities to expand through manufacturing collaborations.

I am particularly interested in connecting with international retailers, concept stores, galleries, distributors and fellow designers who appreciate original products and creative reuse of materials.

My goal is simple: to transform overlooked materials into useful objects with character, and to build lasting partnerships around this approach.
