KMD was established in 1980 in the Kocaeli İzmit Körfez Industrial Zone. The company commenced its operations with the manufacturing of galvanized fuel tanks, aligned with the technical requirements and market needs of the period. After operating at this location until 2005, KMD relocated to its modern facility in the Kartepe Organized Industrial Zone, comprising 9,000 m² of open space and 2,500 m² of covered production area, resulting in a tenfold increase in production capacity.

  To sustain its growth in line with the rapid transformation of the industry, KMD has continuously upgraded its production technologies and consistently invested in human capital through structured training programs. Supported by a highly skilled workforce, the company has closely analyzed market demands, expanded its product portfolio, and strategically directed its new investments.

  In support of its expansion strategy across both domestic and international markets, KMD places strong emphasis on elevating quality standards.
