My organisation

Department of Anatomy at the University of Thessaly, is a place that connects theoretical knowledge with clinical practice and scientific progress. Our goal is to provide everyone, from young students to experienced doctors, with the necessary tools and modern knowledge that will enhance their clinical abilities through the understanding of human anatomy. The anatomy lab at the Medical School of Larissa organizes and hosts seminars. These seminars are specially designed to meet the needs of all healthcare professionals, offering in-depth theoretical training and applied knowledge through practical and interactive activities. From basic anatomical concepts to the latest developments in the field, from cadaveric specimens to three-dimensional holograms, our seminars are aimed at those who wish to enhance their skills, stay updated on the latest advancements, and develop new approaches to medical practice. Various studies in musculoskeletal biomechanics are conducted in the Anatomy Laboratory( Anatomy Lab Uth). The lab hosts biomechanical testing of implants, cadaveric anatomical studies, and computational modeling projects. Many of these studies are carried out in collaboration with national universities, fostering a strong research network and enabling access to diverse expertise in orthopedic surgery, biomedical engineering, and clinical anatomy.
