About me
Dr. Ingrid Winkler is a CNPq Productivity Scholarship recipient (DT-1D) and a postdoctoral researcher from the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU/Singapore). She coordinates the cooperation network Institute of Science, Innovation, and Technology in Industry 4.0 (INCITE INDUSTRY 4.0) and serves as a permanent faculty member in the graduate programs of Computational Modeling and Industrial Management and Technology at SENAI CIMATEC. She is also a Visiting Researcher at Universidade Lusíada (Portugal) and at the EMBRAPII Competence Center for Immersive Technologies (AKCIT/UFG).
Dr. Winkler is the lead researcher of the Extended Reality for Industrial Innovation and Sustainable Production Laboratory (XRIISP Lab) and has coordinated over 40 R&D projects with companies such as EMBRAER, Petrobras, HP, Continental Portugal, SHELL, Great Wall Motors, FORD, Fiocruz, and Bahiagás, among others. She has published 42 scientific articles, 3 books, 19 book chapters, and holds granted patents. She has supervised 23 researchers, most of whom are industry collaborators and involved in international co-supervisions. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on Virtual Reality (CE-RV) at Brazilian Computing Society.
