What I enjoy the most about my work is seeing the moment when a new idea suddenly makes sense to someone.

For the past ten years, that idea has been industrial virtual reality. I've worked with companies exploring how immersive technologies can improve training, safety and operational performance. Along the way, I've learned that successful innovation depends just as much on people as it does on technology. It starts with understanding real challenges, asking good questions and helping others build enough confidence to take the next step.

I've found that the most interesting conversations usually begin with curiosity rather than certainty. Curiosity has always been one of the things that drives me. Every customer, every industry and every project has been an opportunity to learn something new. I've had the privilege of working with executives, engineers, operational experts, trainers and production teams, and one thing has become very clear to me: the best ideas move forward when people with different perspectives genuinely understand each other.

Working across international organisations and multicultural teams has taught me to adapt my communication to different audiences while keeping collaboration practical and constructive.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been helping organizations move from interest to action. Sometimes that means building a business case for new technology. Sometimes it means bringing together people with different priorities and helping them find common ground. I've learned that meaningful partnerships don't start because everyone already agrees. They start because people trust each other enough to explore what's possible.

Alongside my commercial work, I've contributed to Finland's National Metaverse Strategy as a part of Industrial VR Working Group. It strengthened my interest in environments where research, industry and emerging technologies come together to solve meaningful problems.
