Scentient

Scentient has developed a unique digital scent device which adds smell to immersive applications such as VR, AR and MR. The wearable device is designed with versatility in mind. It can be used with a VR/AR headset, a smartphone, or can add smell to physical spaces with no screens at all.

With primary applications in emergency services training and location-based entertainment. Scentient is involved in ongoing trials with Fire and Rescue, the Greater London Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Services and has received international interest for entertainment applications.

The comfort, versatility and usability provided by Scentient is unmatched. The novel wearable form factor means that the device is non intrusive, independent of any external hardware and is extremely easy to integrate into existing setups.

The development is led by Anastasia Georgievskaya (CEO) a recent Innovate UK Young Innovators Award winner with a background in neuroscience research and Ivan Novikov (CTO) with experience in lead tech and product roles.
