As an visionary architect – I founded syte in 2021 for real-time analysis, quickly became a market leader, providing instant data on over 25 million properties.
About me
I have always been enthusiastic about the combination of architecture and digital. While I was still a student, I founded my first company, PlanerBund, which used light simulations to calculate the daylight utilization of planned buildings and thus influence the energy optimization of the building. The simulations then became real objects and PlanerBund grew. Among other things, we planned for Audi in China and revitalized coal mines. Then in 2017 I became a partner at Maas und Partner, which is one of the largest architecture firms in Münster with a team of 50+ and implements projects across Germany. Partly we work out the interior design with our French partner office Saguez&Partners, with whom I established the contact. In 2020 I built a community center made of bamboo in Ecuador with my girlfriend and an association from Berlin (PASoS e.V.). In this little time out, I thought a lot about our industry and got back to the link between architecture and digitalization. That's how it happened that in July 2021, after coordinating with our partners, we founded a startup together with an old friend of mine that determines the development potential of land in real time. In the meantime, our startup syte has become the market leader in the field of land potential. With syte it is possible to get all initial information about land, buildings and their construction and energy potentials in real time. In addition, we have built in a search engine that searches over 25 million plots of land and buildings according to the properties you are looking for, including yield expectations and funding opportunities.
