TESSILMARE SRL

Tessilmare is an Italian company which was born in 1947 and produces FENDER PROFILES (in 316 L Stainless Steel and/or PVC), FABRICS and SUN TOPS (in 316 L Stainless Steel and/or Aluminum).

Any item is completely designed and produced in our company in Sirtori (close to Lecco / Como Lake) with Italian materials only.

FENDER PROFILES

Our fender profiles are so innovative that we can count on 7 PATENTS : BINOX, SPHAERA, RADIAL, BINO, BUMPER, QBE and QBE STEEL. All of them are easy-to-install, very resistant and designed for a specific purpose:

• BINOX: 316 L Stainless Steel insert bars of 3 meters on top of a PVC base. First fender profile in Stainless Steel in the world without visible screws granting a very elegant finish.

• SPHAERA: 316 L Stainless Steel bars of 3 meters that can be installed directly to the hull or on top of a slim or standard PVC base. The bars are predrilled every 20 cm and thanks to its Duralene® core are easily bendable. Elegant and practical.

• RADIAL: soft PVC profile mounting on rigid tracks of 2 meters. Seamless appearance and very convenient for its fast installation.

• BINO: two-piece design PVC profile with a base and a pressure- fitted insert. Strong and lightweight.

• BUMPER: three-piece design PVC profile for better protection available in large sizes. Very strong and very resistant to impacts.

• QBE: nice squared shape, it is able to adapt both to sandwich junctions and deck joint ones.

• QBE Steel : 316 L Stainless Steel insert bars of 3 meters on top of a PVC base. First fender profile in Stainless Steel in the world for boats with a sandwich junction, perfect for a flat surface as well.

All of them are constantly subjected to tensile tests and calibration. Our technical staff calculates all the shock absorption coefficients and daily checks the quality of the raw material.

The coordination between the technical department and designers-planners allows Tessilmare to create its own molds for extruding, designed and developed fully independently in order to ensure fast delivery times, lower costs and, when required, exclusivity.

MARINE FABRICS

Below is an overview of our MARINE FABRICS, available in rolls with a height of 1.80 m and a minimum length of 10 m (standard rolls are 50 m long):

Monospalmato

Our basic one-side coated fabric. Lightweight, easy to handle and fold, ideal for a wide range of marine covers, furniture, and boat equipment.

Bispalmato

Double-sided coated, fully waterproof fabric with excellent resistance to all weather conditions. Mold-resistant and no special maintenance required, it’s perfect for large covers and premium marine applications.

Capotex

Engineered with a special coating for superior mechanical performance. Completely resistant to harsh marine environments including rain, sun, humidity, and salt. Comfortable, durable, and ideal for sun tops.

Obscurex

Triple-coated with thermal insulation properties.

• White on black: Designed to shade boat windows, reducing heat and sunlight for a cooler interior.

• Green on black: Ideal for pool covers, blocking sunlight to prevent algae growth.

All our basic fabrics are treated and finished using sizing machines.  These machines plastic coat the fabrics, color them and give them various grades of waterproofing depending on how they are to be used. Our fabrics are periodically tested and inspected. Specialized third-party labs perform endurance tests. Internally, water column measurements are made to check waterproofing as well as tensile tests, for strength.

SUN-TOPS

Our product range includes models with 3 and 4 arches, both in Alumium and 316 L Stainless Steel.

All our biminis are available in several sizes and our standard colors, as per our catalog.

The most important things to underline are :

• All our sun-tops have a Life-Time Warranty, which confirms their quality and value

• All our sun-tops have a flexibility of approx. 5%, which allows you to easily adapt them to any kind of boat

• All our sun-tops are disassembled and packaged in carton boxes, that means that you can save money for the transport and room in your warehouse to stock them
