Edwin Fierro

The Colombian Navy is the maritime branch of the Colombian Military. It is responsible for maritime and riverine defense, protection of sea lines of communication, and support to national maritime authorities. Its forces include ocean-going surface combatants, amphibious and support vessels, riverine units, and naval aviation and marine infantry components. The Navy also conducts search and rescue, humanitarian assistance, and cooperation missions with allied navies across the Americas and Europe.
