Opmetis

Opmetis is developing an operational-knowledge platform for regulated life-science environments.

Critical process knowledge is often distributed across SOPs, reports, digital systems and the experience of a relatively small number of experts. Opmetis is designed to capture this knowledge, structure it with context and traceability, and make it reusable across teams, sites and operational workflows.

Our initial focus is pharmaceutical technology transfer, where important process knowledge must move effectively between development, CMC, MSAT, manufacturing teams, sites and external partners. We are particularly interested in the knowledge that is difficult to capture through documentation alone, including process rationale, exceptions, equipment dependencies, known failure modes and practical troubleshooting experience.

The same operational-knowledge layer can subsequently support onboarding, troubleshooting, deviation investigation and continuous learning during execution.

Opmetis is currently being developed within ABIOINNOVA, the life-sciences accelerator in Salamanca, Spain. We are looking for pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs and other regulated life-science organisations interested in becoming design partners, validating use cases and exploring pilot projects.
