About me
I'm Celline Awino Omondi, a lecturer in Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya. I hold a doctorate from the Technical University of Berlin in the Faculty of electrical engineering and computer science. I hold a master of science in Physics from University of Pune, India and bachelor of education Science from Moi University, Kenya.
Before commencing my doctoral research in 2014, I worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, in the area of education and research. I was an esteemed member of academic programme committee for certificates, Diploma and BSC. Programmes. I also doubled my role as an academic advisor to year one BSC. Physics students and a member of external linkages and funding proposal committee.
My research centres on the preparation of perovskite thin films by spin coating techniques. In addition, , I uses Xray scattering and microdiffraction imaging to study solar energy materials, energy storage materials, catalysts, and strongly correlated electron system.cterization of perovskite films (analysis of XRD, UV-VIS spectroscopy, SPV spectroscopy, PDS and SEM), preparation of thin films (ZnO, SnO2, V2O5) by physical vapour deposition (PVD) and Spay Pyrolysis deposition system.
