I am from Haramaya University's College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of environmental challenges and sustainable solutions. Organization Details Haramaya University (HU) is a prominent public research university located in Haramaya, Oromia Region, Ethiopia, approximately 510 kilometers east of Addis Ababa (Capital City of Ethiopia). Established in 1954 as the Imperial Ethiopian College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts (IECAMA), it has evolved significantly over the decades. Mission and Vision Mission HU aims to train competent graduates across diverse fields, undertake cutting-edge research, and provide transformative community engagement activities that contribute to sustainable development at local, national, regional, and global levels. About me

I am Abera Atumo, Lecturer and Researcher at Haramaya University in Ethiopia, School of Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences, part of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. I hold an MSc in Environmental Sciences and Management. Furthermore, I have published papers in drinking water quality and wastewater quality. Currently, I am participating in different activity including conducting reach, teaching and community services at Haramaya University.
