About

Latvian IT Cluster (LITC) proudly unites 80+ leading ICT companies on a national level, forming a strategic alliance that elevates competitiveness within the Latvian region. As a pivotal player in digital transformation, our cluster not only brings together advanced ICT companies as solution providers but also ensures that the latest technologies are adopted across the entire ecosystem. Through the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) initiative, we guide SMEs and other organizations in technology adaptation, fostering a robust network where cooperation and competition converge to drive innovation.

By setting a shared vision and steering collaborative efforts, we create a dynamic environment where companies work towards common goals. This synergy not only results in competitive advantages for individual entities but also contributes to the prosperity of the whole Latvian society.

LITC primary focus is the advancments of ICT community, and we acknowledge that this can not be achieved isolated from the whole innovation ecosystem, thus we undertake a facilitators role to unite Latvia’s leading research and technology organizations that are well-positioned to deliver technological and expert services. We also own an applied AI Knowledge Centre “AI Studio” to create an environment for detailed internal and external business process research. The purpose of the AI Studio is to demonstrate and model for businesses the advantages of implementing AI solutions in production processes tailored to their business model. AI applications along with Big Data and IoT are core technologies we are keen to explore within Medtech, ITS, Advanced manufacturing, Agri-Food and other industries.

In terms of community impact, LITC also participates in developing digital skills. Programs vary from basic digital skills for general public to more advanced - robotization and automation skills, digital transformation and digital innovations, skills that would facilitate export promotion, high-level digital management at the company management level and skills for using digital technologies in various business processes.

We have more than 13 years of track record of implementing international projects and delivering innovative IT solutions and products tailored to diverse industries.  LITC takes a leadership role in the national-level European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), spearheading initiatives that contribute to digital transformation. LITC's experience in project management lies in both leading and partnering in EU projects, such as DIGICLUSTERS, InnoCape, eMesai, STARTUP3, Aumenta, ESCALTECH, EUHubs4Data, BOWI, ResC4EU and more.
