ESTIA (École Supérieure Des Technologies Industrielles Avancées, Advanced Industrial Technologies Superior School) is a private and non profit entity, subsidiary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bayonne Pays Basque, Basque Country. ESTIA has been providing education and training for 20 years, in the areas of industrial technologies. (www.estia.fr )
The ESTIA campus is composed of four entities:
ESTIA, Engineering school, with almost 900 students.
ESTIA ENTREPRENDRE, dedicated to welcoming and supporting entrepreneurs and new technology-based business. ESTIA holds in their facilities a Business and a Project Incubator with a technological vocation. This structure allows the support of new start-ups, providing premises, training and services adapted to their specific needs.
ESTIA RECHERCHE, research Group composed of approximately 80 persons (researchers, Ph.D students, post-doctorates).
ESTIATECH, is the entity in charge of value-added research and technology transfer, fosters relationships between ESTIA and businesses looking for technological solutions, skills and training for their innovative projects, and stimulates partner-oriented research.
ESTIATECH is a partner of the various ESTIA platforms; PEPSS (HMI and usage), ENERGEA (renewable energy), SIMECOMP (simulation and modelling). COMPOSITADOUR (Technological platform specialized in advanced processes: Composites and Robotics) and ADDIMADOUR (Technological platform specialized in advanced processes: Additive Manufacturing and Robotics).)
Currently R&D project manager at www.estia.fr oriented to the generation of new product to cope with strategic needs of Aquitania (France) - Spain in Technologies for eHealth, Industry4.0, Energy and Agro-Tech.
More than 20 years of experience in Technological business development and innovation management in the international public-private sphere.
My research interests combine the telecommunications infrastructures (Telecommunication Networks, Multimedia and Internet of Things - IoT) together with Data Management and Security aspects – (Artificial intelligence and predictive systems, Human-Machine interfaces and Cyber-Security) for Digital transformation of traditional sectors such as eHealth, industry 4.0, Energy or agriculture.
Author of numerous scientific publications and active lecturer on innovative business management.
