Claire Derlot

I joined Seventure Partners in September 2025 as a Microbiome & Bio-Industry Investment Advisor within the Life Sciences team, with a strong focus on microbiome-related opportunities and bio-manufactured products.

Based in France, I bring unique expertise in the industrial bio-production of microorganisms—single-strain or multi-strain—for pharmaceutical, clinical, and nutritional applications.

Prior to joining Seventure, I spent ten years at Biose Industrie, one of the world’s pioneers in the manufacturing of live biotherapeutic products (LBPs) and next-generation probiotics (NGPs). I supported the company’s transformation from a 57-employee biotech into a strategic international industrial player, holding positions of increasing responsibility, from R&D Process Engineer to Chief Business & Program Officer.

In this role, I oversaw Program Management, Account Management, Sales & Business Development, as well as industrial planning. I contributed to the development and manufacturing of more than 50 client programs across gastrointestinal, vaginal, and dermatological indications, and supported clinical (IND/IMPD) and nutritional regulatory submissions with U.S., Korean, and European authorities (FDA, KFDA, EMA, EFSA).

Today, I focus on evaluating and supporting investment opportunities in life sciences and the microbiome, at the intersection of science, manufacturing, and strategy, working closely with entrepreneurs and project leaders.
