Pierre Burguière

Microbiologist by training, Dr Pierre Burguière is a strategic innovation & business-driven C-Level Executive with international experience in various areas including microbiome, live biotherapeutics, probiotics, microbial analytical sciences, and in vitro diagnostics.

Dr Burguière is a member of the U.S. Pharmacopeia Expert Panel on Microbiome, Live Biotherapeutics & Probiotics, and part-time adjunct professor in French and Canadian universities. He earned a PhD in Microbiology & Molecular Biology from University of Paris and Institut Pasteur.

He is the former Deputy CEO and Scientific Director of GenoScreen, a French biotech with cutting-edge expertise in microbial genomics and bioinformatics. He has previously worked for global leaders, from avant-garde biotechs & pharmaceutical start-ups to major multinational groups.
