Art studio “1001 Legends” works at the intersection of art, education, and place-based cultural projects. Its creative practice focuses on historical, mythological, and nature-inspired themes, exploring cultural memory, local legends, and a sense of place through visual storytelling.

Alongside artistic production, the studio develops educational programs rooted in historical and mythological narratives, often in collaboration with professionals from other creative industries. Modern technologies are integrated into both artistic processes and communication tools, enhancing accessibility and audience engagement.

The studio actively develops project-based collaborations with the tourism sector, seeking international partners and patrons to create artistic–architectural alley projects. These initiatives aim to reveal local cultural heritage and identity, engage local communities and artists, and evolve into living cultural landmarks and travel destinations.

One of the studio’s key collaborative initiatives is “Local Legends”, a partnership-driven project developed together with Legego, a travel marketplace platform. The project brings together two creators from different fields — artist Jurga and Živilė, founder of Legego — combining artistic interpretation with digital travel tools to explore new ways of experiencing destinations.

At the core of “Local Legends” is a series of artworks inspired by travel and local legends, depicting legendary landmarks and culturally significant sites. These works translate historical, sporting, mythical, and cultural routes into visual narratives. Through the Legego.com platform, the artworks are further expanded into interactive virtual guides and tours, creating a layered, immersive travel experience.
