DEX Innovation Centre is a private innovation center established in 2012. We are a social enterprise. We believe that impactful digital innovation and research improve society and this is thus our Mission. We learned that digital-based innovation is applicable in many sectors, but in some particular ones, the impact on societies is the highest. We focus on them. Health, _Energy and Transportation_ are such sectors, among a few others (like Digital security). With Headquarter in Liberec, Czech Republic and unique network of Scouts, Ambassadors and Ecosystem Enablers we are national-wide Innovation Centre having the access to all key innovation hubs in the whole country (such as Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pilsen and others). We fulfil our missions through 3 complementary approaches: i) We FUNDRAISE for impactful innovation and research. As a funding source, we use public and private funds. ii) We CO-CREATE innovations. Our aim is to support the delivery of impactful innovation, which fits customer need (solving a pain or creating a gain). We use different approaches – from User Centered Design (UCD), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to Piloting and Exploitation. iii) We BUILD start-ups. We focus on technological teams or early-stage start-ups. We scale them up to make them investable. We are the fastest-growing private Innovation Centre in the country. In 2020, we have reached a turnover of 1.150.000 EUR and grown in revenues by 98 % compared to previous financial year. Since December 2018, we support EIT Health as Health Hub in the Czech Republic. In August 2019 we have been also selected as EIT InnoEnergy Hub for the Czech Republic. From 2020, we also act as EIT Health BridgeHead CATalyser in the Czech Republic. We have raised by our fundraising activities 28 mio EUR for 14 large-scale research and innovation international projects. We have co-created more than 10 innovations, which led to the delivery of 40+ innovative products. We have scaled-up 100 start-ups within our BUILD activities. We helped them to get 6.1 mio EURO of investment. Our Build ecosystem consists of a nationwide network of Scouts, Ambassadors and Ecosystem enablers, which give us an opportunity to screen 20 new teams or ideas each month. I lead the Department of Mechatronic Systems and Robotics at the CXI Research Institute, where my research focuses on precisely determining robotic end-effector positions to improve accuracy and reliability in automation. In addition to research, I collaborate closely with industry partners by designing custom PCBs and developing firmware and software tailored to specific applications. My goal is to bridge cutting-edge robotics research with real-world industrial solutions, making robotic systems more precise, adaptable, and impactful.
