ECOLE was founded in 2009 as a consortium company that brings together seven associations from the Confindustria system: AIOP Lombardia, Associazione Industriali di Cremona, Assolombarda, Confindustria Alto Milanese, Confindustria Como, Confindustria Lecco e Sondrio and UCIMU–Sistemi per Produrre, through their respective service companies. ECOLE’s mission is to design, promote, and implement initiatives that strengthen the link between education, training, and the world of work. It promotes, organizes, and delivers guidance and training programs at various levels; develops and manages education, vocational training, professional specialization, and continuous learning initiatives financed by international organizations, public administrations, interprofessional funds, or private entities; and works to prevent and combat long-term unemployment through guidance, upskilling, and career support measures. The consortium also collaborates with public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally, that operate in the fields of education, training, and career development. Furthermore, it carries out research, consultancy, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support businesses, fostering the transfer and dissemination of best practices in the field of corporate services.
