Raed Myyas, Ph.D., is a passionate innovator, engineer, and researcher dedicated to addressing global challenges in renewable energy and water conservation. With a strong academic background and extensive experience in sustainability, Raed is the founder of a groundbreaking project that integrates solar panel cleaning with rainwater harvesting to tackle water scarcity and enhance renewable energy efficiency in arid regions like Jordan and the MENA area.

His innovation addresses the dual challenges of dust accumulation on solar panels, which reduces energy output by up to 25%, and the excessive water usage of traditional cleaning methods. By automating the cleaning process and utilizing harvested rainwater, Raed’s system not only maximizes solar energy production but also provides additional water resources for agriculture and communities.

Raed holds a Ph.D. in Advanced Material Engineering and Sustainable Energy. and has authored multiple research papers and contributed to specialized books in the fields of renewable energy, water conservation, and sustainability. His work has been recognized for its innovative approach and practical impact on addressing pressing environmental challenges.

As an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) programme, Raed has honed his skills in scaling innovative solutions and building global partnerships.
