Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a large comprehensive university in the UK, and received prestigious Queen's Anniversary Prize for its world-class research. ADMEC at NTU successfully conducts/conducted a number of EU projects (Horizon Europe REBELION, Horizon Europe SMILE CITY, H2020 CIRC4Life, FP7 myEcoCost, FP7 cycLED, FP7 CBM Agitators, CIP Eco-innovation Ecolights, Asia link and Asia ICT, etc), in addition to projects supported by Research Councils UK, governmental departments, regional development agencies, industries, and other international funding organisations.

ADMEC’s research arears include circular economy, smart buildings, construction and building environment, sustainability in industrial implementations, transports, environmental and social LCA, sustainable production and consumption, ICT platform to manage the data across the system developed for the project, digital product passports, which are underpinned by digital twin, Internet of things, block chain, Big data, mobile App and systems, condition monitoring, control, artificial intelligence, traceability, NFC/RFID, etc.

     ADMEC has considerable expertise in applications of EU funding, including recent H2020, Green deals and Horizon Europe proposals, either as a coordinator or core consortium member.
