BIOPAN invites research and industry partners to collaborate on advanced deep renovation technologies, indoor environmental quality, and AI-based building management systems. Using its experimental prototyping plant and fully equipped materials laboratory, BIOPAN develops and validates high-performance retrofit solutions, including innovative insulation systems, prefabricated renovation modules, and low-carbon materials. The organisation conducts thermal comfort and indoor air quality research, including hygrothermal testing, emissions analysis, and field monitoring. BIOPAN also supports the development and real-world validation of AI-driven control systems, digital twins, and predictive energy management solutions, accelerating market-ready, energy-efficient, and health-oriented building innovations aligned with European climate goals.
