Sebastiano Marianini

I am Sebastiano Marianini, a Materials Engineer and CE Marking Specialist at Certimac, a leading research and certification center founded by ENEA and CNR. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on advanced composite materials, and my thesis involved the experimental validation of crashworthiness simulations for CF-SMC composite components.

At Certimac, I am involved in the qualification and certification of materials, including CE marking, ensuring compliance with European standards. My work encompasses high-level laboratory testing, regulatory assessments, and providing technical consultancy to industries and public authorities. I also participate in applied research projects, with a particular focus on sustainable building materials, energy-efficient solutions, and advanced composite technologies for the construction sector. My role supports Certimac’s mission to advance safety, performance, and environmental sustainability in construction practices.
