The scientific activity at the Research Centre for Natural Sciences of Hungarian Research Network include, among others, the development of complex functional and structural materials, nanometer-scale structures and the designed integrated micro- and nanosystems that are already used in a wide range of applications. Sensor and bionic devices developed imply an important link to focus areas of research in health science. Research work accomplished to monitor and reduce environmental impact has been of vital importance for sustainable technological processes.
