About
Class IIb medical device designed to accelerate and ensure healing of complex wounds, in particular caused by severe burns, and to avoid the formation of hypertrophic scars. The patented micro- and nano-structured fiber technology is highly absorbent and textured and maintains an optimal balance of the exudate. The synergistic and modular combination of two powerful therapeutic agents, an antifibrotic and an antimicrobial, acts on the prevention of infections and on the inflammatory response, accelerating the healing process and preventing the formation of abnormal scar tissue. The shape and texture offer excellent flexibility and conformability. The device is designed for a prolonged and controlled release of the active ingredients for three days, to avoid frequent applications and to guarantee at the same time continuous therapeutic coverage.
The team is seeking strategic collaboration for the validation phase, including technical analyses, biological characterization, and preclinical studies.
