Cllr Beverley Nielsen

Beverley Nielsen is chair of Ultra Light Rail Partners Ltd.  She's been Executive Director at the IDEAS institute (Institute of Design, Economic Acceleration and Sustainability) and Associate Professor at Birmingham City University.  With a background in corporate business in Europe and across the UK, she has worked as former MD of Fired Earth and Director of Aga Rangemaster. She was recognised as Business Woman of the Year for the Midlands, gaining an honorary Masters for her contribution to business. More recently, Beverley serves as a social entrepreneur chairing an outdoor educational activities community business and as a trustee of youth activities charity whilst contributing to her local area as an elected Councillor.
