Project Description
The recast Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) introduces mandatory solar deployment requirements for non-residential buildings undergoing major renovation or permit-triggering works. Under Article 10, each EU Member State must define its own national criteria for “suitable” solar installations, including technical, functional, and economic feasibility, as well as exemptions.
Envirogood’s Digital Twin platform converts national EPBD Article 10 criteria into a rules-as-code compliance engine, models building geometry and roof constraints, assesses technical and economic feasibility, identifies exemptions, and produces audit-ready compliance reports. The system also supports portfolio-level screening and smart-meter data integration with DSOs.
