About
The concrete industry is responsible for nearly 8% of global CO₂ emissions, with cement accounting for approximately 90% of these emissions. The current practice in industry to reduce concrete’s emissions is to reduce the cement content. However, that comes at the cost of compromising on performance. Concrete manufacturers often face a dilemma between producing low-carbon products or following highly productive processes, which can meet high demand and ensure consistent revenue. Our technology enables the production of concrete with two key advantages: (1) extremely low cement content and (2) rapid strength development – a highly attractive value proposition for the industry.
The novelty of our approach lies in the combination of an ultra-low-carbon, fast-reacting cement formulation with a unique chemical admixture, which ensures that the concrete mixture achieves the desired engineering performance.
