Instituto Vettora is a startup born from a graduate course in Chemistry and Technological Innovation at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Our mission is to turn specialists’ knowledge into practical, accessible training products for researchers.
What we have built an E-manual “R&D&I Network Management”: a step-by-step guide to strategic planning and management tools for research networks, written by professors from UFMG and UFOP who coordinate or have coordinated networks such as INCT Midas and Rede Escalab Mineral, both focused on mining and sustainability. A poster on this topic received an award at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ).
Video course on R&D&I network management (5 modules, 18 lessons), produced with AI. It covers strategic direction (mission, vision, SWOT), tactical planning (action axes, OKRs), operational execution (5W2H, KPIs) and the joint construction of sustainable networks.
Video course on entrepreneurship for scientists, produced with AI and validated with a pilot class of 62 participants: satisfaction rose from 8.2 to 9.2 (scale 0-10).
AI-assisted pitch production for FAPEMIG funding calls.
Events on R&D&I network management, with a second edition being prepared at FAPEMIG headquarters.
Our materials are currently in Portuguese, and English versions can be produced for international partners.
In a joint project, we can deliver training and capacity-building work packages for researchers and network teams, dissemination and knowledge-transfer materials (manuals, video courses, workshops), network management training grounded in real experience with Brazilian mining and sustainability networks
What we are looking for swedish research groups that need a Brazilian partner for training, dissemination and knowledge transfer in joint proposals and swedish companies and technology providers seeking local contacts in Brazil to validate or pilot solutions in mining, mining waste and circular economy
Experiences from Swedish research networks that we can learn from and bring into our training products
Our focused area are Sustainable Mining & Green Metallurgy, with emphasis on mining waste valorization and circular economy.
