Ovidiu Ioan Dumitru

Ovidiu Ioan Dumitru has a degree in economics and one in law, a PhD in Law and one in Energy, he successfully completed an MBA Executive from the Vienna University of Business & Economics (WU) and a LLM in Business Law and has many post-graduate courses in the fields of business law, EU law, construction law or construction management.

Since 2004 he has been teaching at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, from the position of assistant professor, lecturer and now he is an Associate Professor teaching: EU Law, Business Law, European Business Law, Competition Law, European Contract Law and Digital Single Market, Contract Law, Construction Law and Strategic Management and Introduction in Management , in Romanian and English. 

As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in areas as constrcution, travel, tourism, real-estate, events and restaurants, being project manger, executive manager or general manager of some of the Ovigroup companies.

Ovidiu Ioan Dumitru is a founding member o several societies at national level and involved in the European or international networks, such as: Romanian Construction Law Association (founder, former Chairman for the period 2014-2022), member of the Board of the European Society of Construction Law (ESCL), Romanian Society of Business Law (founder and former general Secretary), European Corporate Governance Institute (member) or ClusterTEC Romania (reprezentative of the member Ovi Architecture & Engineering)
