Vision systems for automated inspection and process control in automation

About

Design and integration of industrial vision systems used for automated inspection, measurement and process verification in manufacturing environments. Vision technologies support reliable quality control, eliminate subjective manual inspection and enable fast decision-making in high-volume production.

Solutions are developed according to product geometry, required inspection accuracy and cycle time. Vision systems can operate as standalone inspection stations or be integrated directly into automated production lines and assembly processes.

Depending on the application, vision systems may include:

  • 2D vision inspection for presence, orientation and completeness checks,

  • 3D measurement and geometry verification of shape, height, profile or gaps,

  • surface inspection for detection of scratches, contamination or process defects,

  • code reading and verification including OCR/OCV and DMC/QR identification,

  • vision-guided robotics for flexible picking, positioning and handling of components,

  • inline inspection with data logging and traceability integration.

Systems combine cameras, optics, advanced illumination and sensors such as laser profilers or structured-light scanners to ensure reliable inspection across different materials and geometries.

Vision solutions can be integrated at different stages of production — for example before or after operations such as assembly, welding, soldering, sealing or testing — enabling continuous monitoring of product quality and full documentation of inspection results for every manufactured part.
