V2i is a Belgian engineering company born in 2004 as a spin-off of the University of Liège that helps industry solve vibration and structural-dynamics problems from design through operation. The company combines high-level numerical simulation (structural and fatigue analyses, structural dynamics) with experimental validation (environmental and modal testing) to predict how parts and assemblies behave under real-world loads, correlate models with test results, and reduce the risks in product qualification.
On the testing side, V2i runs environmental vibration campaigns (sine/random, shock) and experimental modal analysis to identify natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping, then uses software tools to tighten correlation between predicted and measured responses. This "simulate-test-iterate" loop helps customers eliminate resonances, avoid premature cracking, and extend service life before costly failures occur.
Beyond project services, V2i also develops tailor-made hardware-and-software systems for monitoring and troubleshooting: instrumentation to extract more insight during tests, on-site diagnostic toolkits, and dedicated acquisition/analytics solutions for test benches and zero-defect manufacturing. These solutions support in-process quality control and condition/structural-health monitoring so plants can detect defects early and keep assets reliable in the field.
