My organisation
Architecture that makes sense
The architecture of past centuries has shown us that high-quality buildings with good amenities and flexible use create lasting value across generations. This means that buildings with long lifespans reduce material consumption and thus help protect the environment.
Building with a clear conscience
The construction industry accounts for 42% of global CO₂ emissions — concrete alone contributes 8%! Yet many historical building techniques have shown us ways not only to reduce CO₂ emissions, but even to bind carbon for future generations.
Pure natural materials can be fully reintegrated into the material cycle without ending up as hazardous waste.
