Regenerating Agriculture: From Fields to Systems
Austrian agriculture is still characterised by small-scale farms and structures. A large number of these small, and usually 100% family-run, farms make an enormous contribution to the production of high-quality and healthy food. These farms also contribute to the protection of biodiversity through extensive and nature-oriented management, ensuring the preservation and restoration of threatened and valuable ecosystems and creating ecologically resilient landscapes. Despite these highly relevant social contributions and the safeguarding of food and natural systems, the agricultural sector in Austria is hardly, if at all, relevant as a classic start-up and investment factor.
WIN #landwirtschaft is committed to the common good and operates on a non-profit basis. The funding provided enables agricultural businesses and initiatives to make
-
nature conservation-oriented and
-
business-oriented investments.
