BIOSHIFT Energy FlexCo

BIOSHIFT Energy makes green gas affordable by unlocking the energy value of dry biomass residues through decentralized plants. We develop patented technology that converts underused dry biomass residues such as straw, wood residues and bark into renewable gas. Our goal is to create a real alternative to fossil natural gas by enabling regional production of grid-quality biomethane close to the feedstock source.

Because our technology is designed to be viable already at small scale, plants can be located close to the biomass source, reducing transport costs and unlocking regional feedstock potential. This creates new opportunities for agriculture, industry and regional energy systems while supporting decarbonization in sectors that are difficult to electrify.

We are currently focused on pilot projects, technology scale-up and the preparation of first commercial deployments. We are looking to connect with investors, pilot partners, industrial off-takers, energy companies and ecosystem partners interested in renewable gas, bioenergy and industrial decarbonization.
